Pre-Clinical Researcher & Collaboration Coordinator
Novocure is a biomedical company that develops a revolutionary treatment for cancer based on the use of electric fields.
A researcher is needed for the Research Collaboration team in the preclinical department.
The job includes supporting collaborative research projects worldwide, as well as conducting basic scientific research for the identification of the biological responses to electric fields in vitro and in vivo.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hold connections with pre-clinical collaborators all over the world
- Responsible for providing scientific and technical training and support to collaborating researchers worldwide. The training may be conducted also at the collaborator’s lab, as needed.
- Coordinate researchers training visits include time schedule, logistic administrationSet-up and maintenance of TTFields preclinical research tools.
- Take part in research concepts intake and review.
- Follow up on research agreements negotiation and execution in coordination with the Legal department
- Participate in and co-organize scientific meetings and advisory boards.
- Support other activities in the preclinical research team as required.
- Liaising with internal and external researchers.
- Collaborate with physics and engineering groups to test new ideas and design and improve the research tools.
- Effective experimental planning, preparation of protocols, conductance of experiments according to protocols, documentation of the results, interpretation of the results and preparation of a summary report in accordance with the highest scientific standards
- Responsible for performing in vitro and in vivo experiments according to good laboratory practice.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Qualifications:
- A master's degree or PhD in biological sciences, physics or biomedical engineering
- Solid background in cancer research
- Knowledge:
- Experience working with animals
- Experience working with cell cultures
- Organized and overall responsible
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
- People and hospitalization attitude

- Ability to travel abroad (~10% of the time)
