The Manager Social Media drives engaging conversation and connection to adidas’ digital eco-system via owned, earned and paid social media. The Manager designs and leads integrated social strategy to excite & connect with our consumers through branded content around the key moments that matter to adidas, our partners and Gen Z.

Lead the integrated social strategy with the brand comm. unit. Drive, oversee or connect to all global/APAC and local KC moments and activities.- Work closely with Brand Marketing function (Brand Activation, SPoMa, CM) and CTC teams to deliver results-oriented strategies and programs that increase consumer and trade awareness of adidas brand messaging, campaigns, products, technologies, innovations and events.
- Provide relevant social media outlets and rollout for global / local with innovative cross-channel PR strategies, compelling story ideas, clear messaging and exciting tools (e.g. photography, press kits, releases, interviews and briefing documents).
- Steer and lead the development of communication and creative tools from concept to activation by closely working with internal / external stakeholders, ensuring that all projects are on time, with impact and within budget and on brief.
- Lead & support global/APAC campaigns and extending local market/Key City initiatives; ensuring social activation plan localization and implementation across all owned, earned and paid social landscape.
- Proactive member of the Brand Communication and wider Brand activation team, contributing to the alignment, integration and media relevancy of activations, products and concepts. Ensure, coordinate and contribute to the consistency of the overall adidas brand message.
- Brief the social agencies for localized content and ensure the maximum impact for all social rollout.
- Act as a thought-leader of social media agency to help provide guidance to the each team, working closely with cross-marketing teams to develop stand-out, seamlessly integrated communication and social concepts
- Work towards meeting KPIs and deadlines to meet campaign / business objectives and priorities with the respective stakeholder groups.
- Ability to translate consumer and internal needs and align internal stakeholders to drive relevant projects and workstreams.
- Optimize work and plans based on results and insights. Steer and track the implementation and results of social activations and tools, developing summary and conclusion reports. Collaborate with other internal teams’ functions to reflect social results / insights to ensure agility and that the result can meet the plans laid out.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong interpersonal/communication skills and high level of strategic thinking.
- Experience in marketing campaign development and execution.
- Ability to manage and / or collaborate with internal and external cross-functional groups: product, communications, social, digital and retail.
- Solid understanding of consumer messaging and brand reputation.
- Affinity with cross-channel PR & Social and a strong background in strategy, media relations, journalism / writing and digital PR / social media.
- Broad understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion/entertainment industry.
- Strong written and verbal, presentation and organizational skills
Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Social or a related field.
- 5+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
